The below blurb is verbatim from 1MORE's Piston Pod product page:
“Complete perfect quality
High-intensive accurate stable aluminium alloy chamber formed by high-precision diamond-cut uni-body can reduce the resonance and make timbre localization clearer .Using biological composite diaphragm ,high rigidity, which makes high frequency have more extended features and brings clearer sound”
Before reading their email request to review the Piston Pod, I had never heard of the 1MORE. But because Piston Pod has a ring to it, I clicked the link. Soon, I was admiring 1MORE's precise advertising imagery, and concise (if horribly named) product line up.
That said, I decided to send a 'thank you, but no' answer.
The reasons are simple. I'm not enough of an audio slave, or rabid blogger that I just have to review everything. While 1MORE, whose OEM designs line the catalogues of a number of better-known companies, isn't a fly-by-night operation, their recklessly unintelligible copy is.
Complete perfect quality? Fashionable and luxury? Run-on sentences, subject-verb tense mismatches, unintelligibly linked adjectives, orphaned commas, and much more scream Google Translate, scream lazy. And if their face to the English-speaking world is that lazy, I would rather they get featured in a review-anything headphone blog.
